We build sites
that book jobs.
Vertex is a small web engineering studio in Sydney working with one type of client: Australian trade businesses. Plumbers, electricians, roofers and air-con crews who are good at the work and tired of a website that makes them look like a one-man show.
Great trades,
terrible websites.
Most trade websites were built once, years ago, on a template that now takes six seconds to load on a phone. Meanwhile the customer standing in a flooded laundry gives it three seconds before they hit back and call the next name on the list.
We started Vertex because that gap is fixable with engineering, not guesswork. Strip the bloat, make the site load instantly, put the phone number and the booking form in front of the customer, and the same traffic starts turning into booked work.
We stay small on purpose — three new clients a quarter — so every build gets the attention it needs instead of being pushed through a production line.
Speed is a sales channel
Every build targets sub-second loading on 4G. Slow pages lose the customer before your quote ever gets read.
Designed around the call
Phone, quote form and booking widget sit where a thumb already is. Every screen has one obvious next action.
Built by engineers, not templates
Hand-built front ends, no bloated page builders, no plugin stacks that break the week after launch.
Judged on booked jobs
We report on calls, form fills and booked work — not vanity traffic charts nobody acts on.
